“Item #15 Review the Village
of Piermont’s Investment Policy
Village Clerk-Treasurer stated
the State Comptroller is still auditing the Village and is about to complete
the Audit. She stated she has been
going through files and found an Investment Policy from 1991 and another from
which[sic] has been in effect since 2000’s[sic]. She
stated all policy’s[sic] will be added to the re-org agenda going forward so every
January they all will be addressed. She
provided the Investment Policy for the Board to review and make any revisions
they want to be made[sic] in preparation for the January re-org meeting. Trustee Michell[sic] asked if the Village
Clerk-Treasurer knew when this policy
was created. She stated in early 2000,[sic]Trustee Blomquist stated it was when he was on the Board. Trustee Mitchell asked if the Village is
in compliance? Village Clerk-Treasurer stated the Village is in
compliance”.
