NEWSFLASH: The Office Of The New York State Comptroller (OSC) Confirms It Is Conducting A Risk Assessment Of Mayor Bruce Tucker's Village Of Piermont.

Pursuant to FOIL, the Office of the New York State Comptroller (OSC) has now confirmed to me in writing that Mayor Bruce Tucker's Village of Piermont, New York government is under an OSC "Risk Assessment". The November 21, 2024 e-mail confirming same is re-printed below. The e-mail has been partially-redacted to protect operational detail about the ongoing agency inquiry into Piermont's finances and Mayor Bruce Tucker's machinations relating thereto.

"Risk Assessment" is essentially Albany-speak for the type of state government inquiry and investigation that prefaces an audit. It's not perfunctory. As most recently reported to me, OSC personnel have already been on-site at Piermont Village Hall for two to three weeks, and are expected to return:
