These previously-published pages provide some background on the Office of the New York State Comptroller (OSC) “Risk Assessment” or audit activity regarding the Village of Piermont, New York, currently being reported elsewhere. While, either directly or indirectly, 6 different sources are reporting that the OSC activity is occurring, “Get Your Hands Off of Piermont” and “Unhand Piermont!” have yet to obtain any public-record documents confirming the scheduling or occurrence of the OSC activity. When such documents are obtained, they will of course be published for the good of the Piermont residents.
