Effective as of this date, the City Of Elizabeth New Jersey City Council, convening as the Municipal Board Of Alcoholic Beverage Control Of The City Of Elizabeth, New Jersey ("Elizabeth Liquor Board") approves the transfer of a pocket liquor license to Bruce Tucker's "Front Street Smokehouse & Saloon, Inc." - "Go-Go and dancing prohibited".

In his post, Bruce Tucker assures us, "As with any urban area, you must always be vigilant". He also admits that the fenced-in parking lot behind the restaurant has yet to be completed, and directs people to park on the street. Incidentally, what Tucker tells no one in this "eGullet" forum post is that Elizabeth, New Jersey is perennially one of the top 5 cities in New Jersey for car theft. Elizabeth recently clocked-in with the ignominious honor of being #3. Elizabeth's average number of autos stolen? 1204. Elizabeth's number of autos stolen per
1,000 people? 9.6. Sure, maybe not Newark, but Elizabeth tries harder.
