Something astounding just happened in the Piermont,
New York mayoral election race.
It was something that I did not expect.
As every Piermont resident knows, and as every reader of this Blog knows, Piermont has been ruled by an unscrupulous, sleazy ex-garmento mayor named Bruce Tucker for the last eight years. Tucker has been the worst mayor in Piermont’s history. Tucker almost destroyed this notable, iconic, quaint, historic, and picturesque Hudson River Valley village with his crooked overdevelopment, neglect, and financial malfeasance.
Bruce Tucker is currently under audit and investigation by Tom DiNapoli’s Office of the New York State Comptroller (OSC). The investigation is considered a law enforcement investigation, and multiple law enforcement agencies are waiting to read the OSC Audit report just like we all are:

A number of years ago, a guy named Mark Blomquist, a Village Trustee, was tapped to serve as Piermont’s Deputy Mayor. Blomquist served as such under Garmento Mayor Bruce Tucker. Blomquist acted in apparent lock-step with Garmento Mayor Bruce Tucker up until now – for almost eight years.
Something changed. What we do know, is that Mark Blomquist was contacted by the Office of the New York State Comptroller over a year ago, when audit activities against Piermont Village Hall and Garmento Mayor Bruce Tucker were starting to swirl:

Therefore, as opposed to continuing to be oppressed by Bruce Tucker’s unholy, greasy grip, Mark Blomquist is now free and empowered to actually speak the truth and vote with his conscience, publicly. It must feel really good for him. He can be a man again, and not just another Tucker supplicant.
As you also know, sleazy lame-duck outgoing Garmento Mayor Bruce Tucker recently anointed an incompetent MIMBO disciple named Kevin Timoney to run for Piermont Mayor against Democrat candidate Nate Mitchell. Tucker did this because Tucker hates Nate Mitchell with a sick unbridled passion. Tucker and his sycophant buzzard enablers used the chicanery of an independent line to prop-up Timoney. Therefore, one might think that Mark Blomquist would now feel compelled to continue to be the company-man, act in lock-step with Garmento Mayor Tucker, and endorse Kevin Timoney.
But guess what? Mark Blomquist grew a spine. Not only did Mark Blomquist refuse to endorse Tucker puppet TIMBO Timoney, Mark Blomquist just endorsed Nate Mitchell as the next Mayor of Piermont, New York.
