Dear Government Grant
Professional:
As your name and e-mail
address materialized in NYSDOS public records as having a past or present
association with the Village of Piermont, New York and now-outgoing Mayor Bruce
Tucker, it is important that you are aware of recent events involving Tucker
and Piermont to the extent that you may not be aware of them already.
Mayor Tucker and Piermont are
currently under Audit and Investigation by the Office of the New York State
Comptroller (OSC), regarding financial and other matters:

The history of Mayor Tucker’s
malfeasance is chronicled at length at the “Unhand Piermont!” Blog, while
Tucker’s most recently-discovered fiscal chicanery is discussed here:

“New York State Comptroller (OSC) Catches Piermont Mayor Bruce Tucker Lying Through His Garmento Teeth Again.”
The full text of the “Unhand
Piermont!” Blog can be accessed here, commencing as of April 2024. Included are
hundreds of entries concerning Piermont, over-development, and the environment:

To the extent that you may
have, or have had, grant-related or other financial or other dealings with
Piermont Mayor Bruce Tucker, or with any of his associates in Piermont Village
Hall or the Village of Piermont, you are urged to please review all such records
and files related thereto now, so as to be sure that you and your respective
organizations have not been in any way victimized by Mayor Bruce Tucker in the
same manner as his Piermont resident constituents have already been victimized.
Tucker put Piermont residents into a Net Position retrograde of almost ten
million dollars. It is no wonder that the New York State Comptroller has been
scouring his books and records throughout the past two calendar years.
That said, we can be
confident that the Comptroller’s plenary Audit and Investigation of Tucker and
Piermont will assuage most if not all of these same concerns.
In any event, it is now clear that, since the commencement of his first mayoral term in 2018, Mayor Bruce Tucker was far more concerned about fostering the hustle of over-development than he ever was about protecting the sacrosanct Village of Piermont. For this reason, I ask your assistance in re-evaluating Piermont’s condition now, and ensuring that any paid-in grant monies actually ended up where they were supposed to end up.

As for all environmental
measures relating to the wonderful Village of Piermont, I am calling for a
renewed look at all of them so as to, inter alia, remediate the flooding and
other damage to the Village, its iconic Pier, and its other resources over the
past several years while Bruce Tucker occupied the mayoral office. Innocent
residents should not be required to build or re-build their homes on stilts:
