We now know that sunlight is exactly the kind of disinfectant that Piermont mayoral candidate Chicken Timoney alias “The Great Concealer”, really hates:
So let’s go to some public-record documents obtained via FOIL – with FOIL being the kind of statute that Chicken Timoney really hates, too. Chicken Timoney really hates freedom of information, and he actually campaigns publicly for Piermont mayor on that specific premise. Chicken Timoney is a dolt:
Below-printed you will see the names of all the individuals purporting to be Piermont residents, who carried, signed, or otherwise administrated petitions to put Chicken Timoney on the ballot circa May of this year as an “independent” “Piermont United” candidate.
If you are wondering why the October 9, 2025 debate “Sponsored By Piermont Democratic Committee” is rigged against Nate Mitchell and against the interests of the residents of Piermont, have a careful look at the names printed below, as extracted from Chicken Timoney’s petitions wherever legible.
Piermont’s infamous Three Wyrd Sisters, in the form of Barbara Scheulen, Margaret Grace, and Sylvia Welch, are three principal figures who propped up Bruce Tucker 2.0 alias Chicken Timoney as an anti-Mitchell candidate to begin with. They did this in warped fealty to Garmento Mayor Bruce Tucker, who hates Nate Mitchell. Have a look at the petitions below.
Incidentally, the “Wyrd Sisters” concept, rooted in the three Fates of classical mythology, derives from Raphael Holinshed’s original Chronicles (1577, 1587), later absorbed in Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” (1623). In Old English, “wyrd” meant “fate”, as borrowed from Middle Scots. What more appropriate use of a term could exist, but to describe three hillside political hack operatives who have sought to arrogate unto themselves the fate of the Piermont Democratic Party, the fate of the current Piermont mayoral candidates, and the fate of the Village of Piermont itself:
Even more outrageous, Nate Mitchell is the Democratic Party candidate - and yet the so-called “Piermont Democratic Committee” along with Piermont’s Three Wyrd Sisters are all supporting Nate Mitchell’s opponent, Chicken Timoney. Carrying petitions for the Chicken. Campaigning against Mitchell. By their own written admission, Barbara Scheulen and Margaret Grace communicate “on behalf of” the “Piermont Democratic Committee”, and therefore appear to be the leaders of that organization as currently-configured:
Also of note is the presence of the name “Sara Tucker” - herself a Town of Orangetown Democratic Party operative - on the Chicken Timoney petitions below.
Yep. That’s the very same “Sara Tucker” as is married to failed and exiting Garmento Mayor Bruce Tucker. The Garmento Mayor, as you know, is currently under Audit and Investigation by the Office of the New York State Comptroller. The Tuckers and the Piermont Three Wyrd Sisters may well have determined that Garmento Mayor's name would be far too toxic to add to these below petitions as well. If so, they would have been correct.

Piermont needs a change in leadership, not just a change of Mayor.  The culture of concealment that has plagued our community during the current administration must be replaced by a real embrace of transparency and public discourse, one which my opponent only pays lip service to in platitudes and vague promises.  So far, I have seen no concrete policy platform, and his whispering campaign speaking only behind closed doors where falsehoods are safe to go unchallenged does not telegraph leadership.  Declining to engage with the public on the basis of my participation in the discussion should be a disqualifying decision in my opinion.  There are no safe spaces for elected officials, we don’t get to pick and choose who we will hear from.  Anyone who is not prepared to accept that is not ready to hold public office, or to lead our community.  It seems like the candidate claiming to offer a ‘fresh start’ is actually using the same playbook as our current administration, engaging only with sympathetic audiences and avoiding real discourse with the public.

Our voters have a clear choice in this election- a Mayor who will share policy positions and listen and acknowledge constituent concerns, or one who declines to participate in uncomfortable conversations.
