NOTE AND UPDATE: IN ALL LIKELIHOOD IN RESPONSE TO THIS AND OTHER RELATED BLOG ENTRIES, CRAIG WEIS, ESQ. AND FRANK DECARLO (1) REINSTATED "PIERMONT DEVELOPERS LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY" FROM A 7-PLUS YEAR FILING DEFAULT, (2) THEREBY SOUGHT TO PURGE JERRY POLIDORO FROM THAT LLC'S RECORD, AND (3) CHANGED THE LLC'S ADDRESS FROM NORWOOD NJ TO HACKENSACK NJ. HOWEVER, AS LAST-KNOWN, JERRY POLIDORO STILL APPEARS ON THE DEED FOR 475 PIERMONT AVENUE IN PIERMONT NEW YORK, AS SHOWN HERE:

I am an attorney in New York. I am a citizen and resident of the Town of Orangetown, and the County of Rockland.
 
Under the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), P.L. 2001, c. 404, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.:

and, as may be applicable, its and their state, federal, and other counterparts, request is hereby made that your office provide to this, my law office, full and complete copies of each and every document and other item of material (collectively, “Records”) which may be at all responsive to the following requests:
 
1. The October 6, 2015 Tax Sale Notice, And All Related Documents And Proceedings. All Records relating to the Borough Of Bergenfield Notice Of October 6, 2015 Tax Sale (“Tax Sale”), with regard to Polidoro Properties LLC formerly of 160 North Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, New Jersey. My understanding is that the dollar amount at issue was US$21,904.63 - that the property owner may have paid off the amount assessed two years later in 2017 - and that the subject property was sold or otherwise transferred to a different owner in 2019. For purposes of your ease of reference, the 3-page notice of the Tax Sale is attached as Exhibit “A” to this OPRA request, in the form as published on “NJPA” letterhead and currently found at this Internet URL link of:

My understanding is that these documents will be reposed in:
A. Your Tax Assessor’s office.
B. Your Tax Collector’s office.



2. NJDEP v. Bergen Auto and Polidoro Properties, LLC (2015). It is possible, but not yet certain, that the Tax Sale may have related to an environmental problem on that same piece of Bergenfield commercial property at around the same time in history. Therefore, I am requesting, as well, all Records relating to the matter of New Jersey Department Of Environmental Protection, Site Remediation Compliance And Enforcement v. Bergen Auto And Polidoro Properties, LLC, OAL DKT. NO. ECE 08989-14, AGENCY DKT./REF. NO. PEA 130001-032975 (2015). For your convenience, a portion of the above-referenced NJDEP file can already be found at the below-indented Internet URL. I am currently seeking the totality of the remainder of the file from NJDEP. I also herewith requesting every Record which you have on file in this matter:

“Flashback To 2015: Polidoro Properties, LLC Runs Out Of Money, And Gets DESTROYED By The New Jersey DEP For Punting On A Massive Leaking Underground Gasoline Tank.”
 
My understanding is that these documents will be reposed in:
A. Your Health Department’s office.
B. Your Building Department’s office.
 
Incidentally, I do hope that the 160 North Washington Avenue site was cleaned up since, for the sake of the health and safety of your Bergenfield residents and neighbors.
 
3. Polidoro Properties, LLC. To the extent not picked-up by the foregoing requests, all other Records relating to Polidoro Properties, LLC.
 
4. Gerard M. Polidoro. To the extent not picked-up by the foregoing requests, all other Records relating to the Principal of Polidoro Properties, LLC – one Gerard M. Polidoro alias “Jerry Polidoro” alias “Gerald Pollidoro”[sic] alias “Gerard D[sic] Polidoro” alias “Gerard M Polido[sic]”.
 
5. Piermont Developers Limited Liability Company. To the extent not picked-up by the foregoing requests, all other Records relating to the following entities with which Mr. Polidoro has been associated in public-record documents. Approximate year-dates in which these entities were created or otherwise existed, are indicated in parentheses next to the entity-names:

6. Headings. The headings for numbered Items #1 through #5 hereinabove are for purposes of your convenience of reference only, and should not be construed to be words of limitation or otherwise of any substantive significance relative to this OPRA request.
 
7. Costs. If there are any copying or other fees for this, please let me know what they are and how they are calculated, before fulfilling the request and forwarding the Records to me. As this OPRA request should be considered a matter of public importance, and as its results will be shared with the general public, I am asking that any otherwise-applicable fees be waived for this production of Records. I am also asking that all Records be provided to me electronically to the full extent possible, so as to obviate the need for any photocopying expense.
 
8. Denials And Appeals. I will appreciate a response from you and your office as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing from you shortly. In the event that any portion of my request is denied, please inform me of each of the specific reasons for any such denial in writing - and provide me with the name, address, and other contact information of the person or entity to whom an appeal should be directed.
